International Success for Dan Lungu’s novel Sînt o babă comunistă! / Baba Comunista

Just out from Residenz ( Austria) in a translation by Jan Cornelius, Sînt o babă comunistă! / Baba Comunista has been translated into Hungarian (Jelenkor Publishers Ltd., 2008) and French (Éditions Jacqueline Chambon, 2008) and it will appear this year in Italian by OTP translator Ileana Pop (Gruppo Editoriale Zonza), Spanish (Ed. Pre-Textos), Polish (Wydawnictwo Czarne) and Bulgarian (Faber Print Ltd). Lungu is one of the Romanian novelists most published abroad. His most recent novel is Cum să uiţi o femeie / How to Forget a Woman (Iaşi: Polirom, 2009).
